Getting Started

Your first session in Defend my Ring Farm should be boring on purpose. The players who skip Shop, dump every coin into rolls, and plant three sword carrots on the same dirt patch are the ones who rage-quit before the plant army ever fights offline. This page is the slower route that actually sticks.

Minute 0–5: tutorial, then codes

Launch the experience, accept the tutorial, and do not open rolls until it ends. The code box is locked until those prompts close. As soon as Shop appears on the left:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of Shop.
  2. Redeem NIGHT and RINGFARM from the codes hub.
  3. Confirm a Bloodlit Carrot Seed, Money Potion, Water Potion, and Luck Potion landed.

If Redeem fails, finish any leftover tutorial tooltip and paste again. Do not type Build a Ring Farm codes.

Join the Memories Game group from the Roblox page before you leave Shop. The 15% money boost is permanent and stacks with later potions. Liking the experience is the other half of that advertised boost.

Minute 5–15: plant a mixed lane, not a themed lane

Official art is the best free scouting in this game. You will see:

  • A carrot with a sword — melee, short range, needs backup.
  • Corn with a projectile — mid-range chip.
  • Grapes with a bow — backline.
  • A blocky tuber with a shield — soaks hits.
  • A giant beet with a laser — wave clear when you are lucky enough to own one.

Your NIGHT grant is a Bloodlit Carrot. That is still a melee plant. If you plant it alone on the outer path, a clump of green zombies will walk past the swing. Pair it immediately with whatever ranged seed the tutorial or first roll gave you. The starter plants page lists who belongs where.

Drink the Luck Potion from RINGFARM before you roll, not after a streak of commons. Then roll until you have at least one ranged partner. Save the Money Potion until after you clear a wave so you are not expanding into a lane you cannot defend.

Minute 15–25: the first real wave

Waves are the point of the game. A 5-player server can feel busy, but your ring is still your problem. Watch the dirt path. Zombies come from the grave-side of the map, not from random grass. Plant melee on the contact point, ranged behind them, and keep one slot for a tank if you rolled one.

If the first packed wave deletes your carrot, read how to defend before you spend the Money Potion on a cosmetic expand. Coverage beats ring size in the first half hour.

Gamepasses exist in the same Shop as codes: +100% Luck, More Drops, x2 Roll Speed, x3 Wave Speed, and VIP. None of them are required to finish this session. If you are going to buy anything later, read upgrade priority so you do not grab Wave Speed while your army is still one melee unit.

Minute 25–40: set up offline

The Roblox description is literal: the plant army fights offline and earns money. That only helps if the army is alive. Before you leave:

  • Every important lane has at least one plant.
  • Bloodlit Carrot is not isolated.
  • Water Potion is used if the farm looks dry or stalled.
  • You are not mid-roll with a Luck Potion ticking down unused.

Then close the client. Come back, sell or collect, and follow make money fast for the next hour. For the full loop without the timer, stay on how to play. For HUD confusion, use controls.

Mistakes that waste the first session

  • Rolling before Luck Potion.
  • Treating Bloodlit Carrot as a whole army.
  • Buying VIP to fix a lane that needed a grape, not a receipt.
  • Quitting with an empty ring so offline earnings are zero.
  • Mixing this title with other farm tycoons and following saw-upgrade guides that do not exist here.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, waves, and plant rolls.

What should I do first?

Finish the tutorial, redeem NIGHT and RINGFARM, join the group, then plant Bloodlit Carrot next to a ranged unit.

Is Bloodlit Carrot enough to solo waves?

No. It is a strong melee starter. Pair it with corn, grapes, or another ranged plant.

Should I buy a gamepass in the first hour?

No. Use free codes and the group boost first. Check the upgrade priority page if you still want to spend Robux.

Does progress save when I leave?

Yes. The plant army keeps fighting and earning offline if you left plants on the ring.
