Defend my Ring Farm Bloodlit Carrot Guide

Event melee seed from NIGHT — plant it on contact, never as a solo army.

Bloodlit Carrot

Bloodlit Carrot is the first named special plant most Defend my Ring Farm accounts will own. The live code NIGHT grants 1 Bloodlit Carrot Seed and a Money Potion. An older string, BLOODLIT, already expired, which is a strong hint this line was planned as a Night-event identity, not a random Shop filler.

How to get it

  1. Finish the tutorial.
  2. Open Shop on the left, scroll to the bottom.
  3. Redeem NIGHT using the how to redeem steps.
  4. Find the seed in inventory and plant it on a contact tile of the ring path.

If NIGHT is invalid, check the codes hub and expired list. We will not tell you to hunt BLOODLIT; that code is dead. Rolling a second Bloodlit is not documented as a guaranteed table hit — treat extras as lucky, not as a farm plan.

What it is (and is not)

It is a melee carrot. Official carrot art shows a sword fighter standing on grass while zombies crowd the camera. Bloodlit is that job with an event skin and a better grant path. It is not:

  • a laser beet
  • a grape turret
  • a pet
  • a harvest crop from the other ring-farm game

If you plant it alone on a fresh expand, a clump of green zombies will walk the long way around the swing. Pair it with corn or grapes from the starter plants list. Rank context: plant tier list.

Where to stand it

  • Do: front of a lane that already has ranged behind it.
  • Do: replace a tutorial sword carrot on the busiest contact point.
  • Do not: hide it in the inner ring “for safety.” Melee that never touches a zombie earns nothing and defends nothing.
  • Do not: sell it to buy a gamepass. You cannot buy this identity in Shop the same way you buy +100% Luck.

Night lighting makes melee look dramatic and still does not add range. Play Night with the same coverage rules as day.

After it is planted

Drink Luck Potion and roll the missing ranged role (how to get seeds). Use the Money Potion from the same NIGHT grant after the first win so you can expand tiles you can actually fill. Leave Bloodlit in the dirt when you log off; it is part of the offline army described in make money.

If the plant dies, replant. Event seeds are not immune to bad coverage. x3 Wave Speed will not save a lonely carrot.

Name confusion

Search results mix this page with Build a Ring Farm carrots that sell for $3 base. Ignore those tables. Bloodlit Carrot is a combat unit in Defend my Ring Farm. We will add stats if Memories Game publishes them. Until then, the useful facts are grant path, role, and placement.

Session plan once it is in the hotbar

Minute 0: redeem NIGHT, confirm the seed icon, do not roll yet.
Minute 1: put Bloodlit on the dirt tile zombies actually touch. If a tutorial carrot is already there, replace it; do not stack two melee on one tile and leave the next tile empty.
Minute 2: drink Luck Potion from RINGFARM and roll only until a corn or grape appears.
Minute 3: plant that ranged unit behind Bloodlit.
Minute 4: start a wave. Watch whether zombies walk around the swing. If they do, you planted on grass, not on the path — move the carrot.
Minute 5: if you won, drink Money Potion and expand a tile you can fill the same minute.

That plan is also the getting started hour, written from the seed’s point of view. Bloodlit is the reason NIGHT exists; treating it as inventory clutter is how people say “the code was mid.” The code was a frontliner. You still have to stand it on the road.

If Night ends while this page still ranks Bloodlit as the best free melee, the rank is about access, not about a hidden stat we never published. A later sword plant can dethrone it. Until that plant has a name and a grant path, keep the bloodlit carrot on contact and keep grapes behind it.

No. It is melee. Put a corn or grape unit behind it.
