Plant Army Tier List

Your ring is a team, not a museum. This list grades the plants Memories Game has actually shown: sword carrot, Bloodlit Carrot, corn, grapes, shield tuber, and the giant laser beet. New seeds will land on the players hub first, then here.

S tier — changes the fight

Laser beet (giant radish/beet). Official overview art shows a huge red plant firing beams through a zombie pile while graves sit in the background. That is wave-clear. Rank it S because one correctly aimed nuke does the job three carrots cannot. You may not own it yet. Do not sell it. Face it at clumps, not at empty grass.

Bloodlit Carrot. Event melee from NIGHT. Same job as a sword carrot, better grant path, Night-themed kit. S for early and mid accounts because it is obtainable without a miracle roll and belongs on the contact point. It is not a turret. Pair it. Full write-up: Bloodlit Carrot.

A tier — the backbone

Grapes (bow). Purple backline. They fire while melee is busy. If your wipes happen “even with a carrot,” you are missing this row.

Corn (sling / projectile). Mid-range chip. Slightly closer than grapes in the art, still not a frontliner. A corn plus a carrot is the default winning pair in week one.

A-tier plants are what you roll for after codes. See how to get seeds.

B tier — honest jobs

Sword carrot (tutorial melee). The worried orange face with a blade in the farmyard shot. Perfectly fine on contact. Becomes a problem only when the whole ring is copies of it.

Shield tuber. Blocky plant with a shield. Stands on the pinch. B because it does not kill the wave, but it lets A-tier finish the wave. One is enough until you have extras.

Hay farmer (avatar / NPC). The straw-hat figure in overview art is not a seed you roll; it is the player character or a farm NPC. Do not spend luck trying to “hatch” it.

C tier — fillers

Commons you have not named yet, duplicate melee after roles are filled, and anything planted on a tile that never sees the path. C does not mean sell-immediately — it means use them to plug expansion holes so zombies cannot walk a free lane. Empty is worse than C.

Composition beats the letter

Best cheap comp: Bloodlit or sword carrot (front) + corn or grapes (back) + shield on pinch if you have it.
Best greedy comp: that, plus laser beet aimed at the bunch point.
Worst comp: four melee, zero ranged, two empty expansion tiles.

Night does not rewrite the letters; it makes missing A-tier more painful. Play coverage first, then chase S. Defense habits: how to defend. Money habits: make money.

What we will add later

If Memories Game ships more Night plants, undead-themed ranged, or a spray-only mutation plant, they get a new row and a players page. We will not pad this list with Build a Ring Farm names to look bigger.

When two plants share a role, keep the one that is harder to replace (Bloodlit over tutorial carrot, grapes over a second corn if you already have mid-range). Sell or store true duplicates after the path is full so inventory does not block a future event seed.

Revisit this page after the Night event banner changes. Until then, plant the mix, not the logo.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, waves, and plant rolls.

What is the best plant right now?

Laser beet for wave clear if you own it. Bloodlit Carrot is the best plant most players can actually obtain this week.

Should I sell extra carrots?

Keep one melee on each contact point. Extra melee after you lack grapes or corn can be stored or used as expansion fillers.

Where does shield tuber go?

On the pinch of the path, in front of ranged plants, not in a decorative inner pocket.

Why are harvest multipliers missing?

This game has not published them. Ranking by combat role is honest; copying another game’s 19x chart is not.
