How to Get Seeds in Defend my Ring Farm
Rolls, event codes, and luck — not a copy of some other farm’s lever.
Seeds are units. Getting them is half RNG, half knowing when to stop. Defend my Ring Farm advertises Roll and Grow your Plant Army for a reason: you are not browsing a complete seed shop like a grocery list. You roll, you take what the table gives, and you fill roles from the starter plants roster until a Night grant or a lucky roll changes the mix.
Source 1: tutorial and first plot
The tutorial hands you at least one plant so you can learn Shop and the path. Do not sell or replace it until you have a second unit. A farm with zero plants earns zero offline and dies to the first zombie that walks the dirt.
Source 2: codes
This is the only “guaranteed rare” most players will see in week one.
- NIGHT → Bloodlit Carrot Seed (plus Money Potion). See codes and Bloodlit Carrot.
- RINGFARM → potions, not a seed, but Luck Potion is how ordinary rolls become useful.
Expired names like BLOODLIT used to feed this same line. They are dead; do not hunt them on expired codes.
Source 3: rolling
Rolling is the long-term source. Do it between waves, after Luck Potion, with a plan for which role you still lack.
A sane target order for new accounts:
- One melee (carrot / Bloodlit).
- One ranged (corn or grapes).
- One tank (shield tuber) if it appears.
- Duplicates only after those three roles exist.
- Laser beet or other high-rarity showpieces last — you cannot plan a wipe around a plant you do not own.
If you already have two melee and no ranged, skip another carrot even if it looks cooler. The plant tier list ranks by role value, not by who has the biggest face in the thumbnail.
Luck, actually used well
Luck Potion from RINGFARM is a session item. Drink it, then roll a block of attempts, then go defend. Sipping it, rolling once, and wandering off is how the buff dies on a loading screen.
Paid luck exists too:
- +100% Luck (39 Robux) — doubles the luck line for people who roll a lot.
- VIP (299 Robux) — +25% luck plus money and a tag.
Neither pass plants a grape for you. If your ring is empty, spend the session on how to defend, not on another luck receipt. Upgrade priority puts free Luck Potion and coverage ahead of these passes.
x2 Roll Speed (129 Robux) only helps if your bottleneck is animation time. New accounts are bottlenecked by cash and by dying, not by roll animation.
Source 4: events
The live Roblox banner is NIGHT?. Event windows are how Bloodlit-style seeds enter the pool without a miracle roll. Play during the event, redeem the matching code, and read Night event so you know what else might drop. When an event ends, its code usually expires; that is why BLOODLIT is already on the dead list.
We do not invent extra limited seeds. If a YouTuber shows a plant we have not documented, wait for the Roblox page or Discord to name it, then we add it to the players hub.
Source 5: you cannot steal from the other farm game
Ghost Pepper, Aurora Lotus, Tropical Seed Packs, and Bee Tokens belong to Build a Ring Farm. They will not appear in this Shop. Searching those names in this wiki should not be your plan.
A 10-roll session template
- Confirm no wave is incoming.
- Drink Luck Potion if you have it.
- Roll until you fill a missing role or the potion is clearly done.
- Plant the new unit on a hole in the path.
- Save leftover cash for farm upgrades, not for rolling into a wave.
- If you got nothing useful, stop. Play a wave. Come back.
For button locations, see controls. For what to do with a seed after you have it, return to how to play.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, waves, and plant rolls.
What is the easiest rare seed to get?
Bloodlit Carrot from the NIGHT code, while that code is active. After that, you roll.
Should I roll during a wave?
No. Rolls do not pause zombies. Roll between waves after drinking Luck Potion.
Does +100% Luck guarantee a beet?
No. It improves odds. You can still roll commons. Coverage still matters more than one jackpot.
Can I trade seeds with other players?
There is no public trade desk documented. Treat seeds as bound to your farm unless the developer adds trading later.
