The Roblox description is not flavor text. Your Plant Army Fights Offline to Earn Money. That sentence is the AFK loop for Defend my Ring Farm. What offline actually does

When you leave the experience, the plants you left on tiles keep doing their combat job. Waves and payouts continue on the server-side farm, then you collect when you return. You do not need an auto-clicker, a script, or Wave Speed running on an empty PC. If a hub promises “auto farm while closed,” it is selling an injector for a feature the game already ships.

Offline is not:

• a second place ID
• a sleep world with different zombies
• a harvest saw from Build a Ring Farm
• a way to redeem codes while you are gone

Shop stays closed. Luck Potion does not roll for you. Bloodlit Carrot does not walk to a new tile. Whatever coverage you saved is the coverage that fights.

The leave checklist

Do this in order. Skip a line and the AFK hour is wasted.

1. Finish or skip a live wave. Do not quit mid-path if you can help it — a wipe saved as the last state earns nothing.
2. Walk the ring. Every dirt contact that zombies use has a plant. Empty expand tiles from a Money Potion binge are the usual holes.
3. Front is melee (Bloodlit Carrot or sword carrot). Behind is corn or grapes. Pinch is a shield tuber if you own one. Dream tile is the laser beet facing a clump, not a wall.
4. Drink Water Potion if upkeep looks stalled. Water is for the farm that will sit alone for hours, not for a panic revive.
5. Do not drink Luck Potion and then quit. Luck is for rolls you are about to take.
6. Leave. Close the client. Come back, collect, repair, repeat.

Why people earn zero overnight

Wiped save. You died, rage-quit, and the ring stored as empty. Offline combat needs living plants.

Melee-only ring. Three carrots look busy in the screenshot and still leak zombies around swing range. The army “fights” and still loses. Losing offline is worse than not playing — you return to holes.

Greedy expand. Money Potion bought tiles you did not fill. The path grew. Coverage did not. Fill or do not expand. Upgrade priority ranks filled tiles above Robux pace.

Wrong game muscle memory. Players from harvest tycoons leave a saw running. There is no saw here. If you unplant everyone “to neat-up the plot,” you turned the AFK engine off.

How long to stay away

There is no published hourly gold table. Treat offline as a multiplier on a stable army, not as a slot machine. A 20-minute covered ring beats an eight-hour wiped ring. Average session length on trackers sits around 22 minutes — plenty of players already bounce; the ones who set coverage before the bounce come back richer.

Night does not pause offline. If NIGHT? is live, leave Bloodlit on contact so the event seed keeps working after you sleep. The code can expire. The planted unit does not.

Group boost still ticks

The advertised 15% money from liking the experience and joining Memories Game applies to the same payout stream, including what accrues while you are gone. Do that on day one from the links hub. VIP’s +50% money is the paid cousin — only after the free 15% and a mixed army, per gamepasses.

What not to run overnight

• x3 Wave Speed, if you cannot hold a normal wave.
• An executor “auto plant” while you sleep (script safety).
• A second account hopping servers hoping offline stacks. Progress is on the account’s farm, not on lobby tourism.
